Gentle Chair Yoga on the Lawn Register View Cart


Explore mindfulness and Yoga postures using the support of a chair with both seated and some optional chair supported standing postures. Chair Yoga is great for improving strength and flexibility as well as decreasing stress.


Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat or beach towel  to place under the chair as well as a beach towel prop to use for resting/relaxation.

Physical distancing guidelines are to be followed including keeping at least 6 feet distance from others and wearing a facial covering when arriving and departing. For the safety of all, do not come to class if you are not feeling well. Class will be held outside with spaces clearly marked. We will be using the Rec departments chairs that will thoroughly cleaned and sterilized before and after use.

Advanced Registration for the full session is required. 

When: Thursdays 930a-1030a, June 11-July 9th 
Late Sign-up Prorated Cost: 4-week session for $40 (non-refundable) once session begins.

Class is weather dependent. Class is cancelled in the event of rain. One rain date make up will be offered if needed on July 16th.
