Flow painting by the sea Register View Cart

Be inspired by the ebb and flow of the tide and learn how to Flow Paint. This is a fun class that everyone can do, no experience necessary. Using water based acrylic paints you will learn 3 styles of pouring paint onto canvas. You will learn how to mix the paint for the perfect viscosity, color combining for dramatic effects, and how to use your imagination to manipulate the paint to create a unique piece of art that represents you. Each participant will go home with their very own creations.

About the instructor:
Nancy Bariluk-Smith is the co-creator and owner of The ART COOP in West Kennebunk.
She has worked in several mediums over the last 30 years. Being a long time fiber artist,Nancy taught classes in wet and dry felting and started many spinning / knitting groups. After adding glass beads onto her fiber work Nancy took up lamp work bead making. She spent countless hours working on new bead designs, color combinations and shapes, learning metal smithing and creating jewelry to sell. The love of color and the fluidity of felt making made acyclic paint pouring an easy next step. Acrylic Paint Pouring is one of the easiest and most playful art technique.Nancy is constantly finding new ways to manipulate this interesting technique into her art work.
