Summer Dog Training Series: "Loose Leash Walking"

All classes in this Summer Series will begin with a quick review of the following consistent elements; 
Classical Conditioning
Operant Conditioning 
Use of Moment Markers 
Lure and Reward Behavior Shaping 

This course is designed to teach you how to take control. We will arm you with the knowledge and hands on experience needed to successfully train your dog to walk politely and not pull while on leash. Leash pulling is one of the most common problem behaviors owners’ deal with today. 
This class teaches polite leash walking using positive reinforcement and the least aversive techniques possible. 

When: Thursday, August 8th 5:30-7pm
Where: Rec Building
Cost:  $40

This class includes your furry friend. All dogs should be properly vaccinated, on leash(4-6 ft, no retractable leash), flat buckle style collar, outer martingale/ limited slip style collar. 
*Please bring a baggie of irresistible treats,  plus your dog's dinner! If your dog is 'toy' crazy, those can be used at home to enhance training. 
 
Classes are 90 minutes long, with the first 30 minutes being classroom style, then we'll begin actually working with your Favorite Fur Friend! 
*Some dogs that are intensely reactive may not be appropriate for group classes until the reactivity has been addressed and resolved. 
**Please be considerate of others and arrive early enough to allow us to begin on time.
