Class Description
Discover all the steps to make your own mouth-watering sushi rolls in our upcoming Sushi Rolling Demonstration.
During this hands on, interactive, demonstration - lead by Boathouse Restaurant Sous Chef Matt Niedzwiecki - you'll learn how to make the popular California Roll with Peekytoe Crab, Cucumber and Avocado.
At the end of the demonstration you'll leave with your very own Sushi Making Kit and all the knowledge you need to find the correct ingredients at your local grocery store to make your very own sushi rolls at home.
About Chef Niedzwiecki
Matt Niedzwiecki's culinary career began at Vendetta, a sushi bar with a unique focus on local produce and sustainable fish, in Keene New Hampshire.
His culinary career then took him to Portsmouth, New Hampshire where he was a part of the opening team and the Surf Sushi Bar which quickly became not only a successful restaurant, but one that set sushi standards for the industry in New Hampshire for fresh exquisitely prepared seafood. After a successful first year he was promoted to Sous Chef, follow by becoming the Sous Chef at Surf Restaurant for a combined total of five years.
Matt's culinary repertoire flourished during a season at Ocean Restaurant in 2017, under Chef Pierre, when then lead to his current position as Sous Chef at the Boathouse Restaurant & Waterfront Hotel which began in March 2018. Since joining the Boathouse team he has not only been instrumental in the re-launch of the restaurant but also in leading the menu offering design for the incredibly popular sushi menu.
